Pitztal offers not only walking trails in the valley (some of which are also suitable for prams), but also easy trails on higher ground, which can be comfortably reached by lift. For example, the Hochzeiger mountain lift with the ZirbenPark, the Rifflsee mountain lift with the Rifflsee round walk.
Regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, in Pitztal you will find the appropriate offer. Riding lessons, horse and carriage rides up to whole day rides. Especially popular is the Haflinger trekking – let the Tyrolean Haflingers guide you through the wild and romantic nature of Pitztal.
Adventures in the water and at the children’s playground are on the summer programme at Pits Park in Wenns. With a natural bathing pond, a spacious children’s playground with Mega Pitzi action, a heated children’s paddling pool, a beach volleyball and soccer court as well as indoor play facilities.
Embark on a special circular hike in the Zirben Park on Hochzeiger: The approximately one-kilometre-long Zirben Park adventure trail starts at the Hochzeiger mid-station, runs in the direction of Zollberg and leads through the Zirben forest back to the Hochzeiger mid-station. At various points in the Zirben Park, there are many interesting things to learn about the Swiss stone pine trees. The fun factor does not come up short in the Zirben Park.
Experience a special kind of day at lofty heights. The XP Adventure Park in Jerzens offers you an extraordinary holiday experience. Dare to fly over the gorge at a height of approx. 50 metres on the “Flying Eagle” flying fox? The high rope climbing course is ideal for families.
Exactly 3 535 metres of pure adventure await all those who zoom down to the valley on the Imst Alpine Coaster. This makes the Alpine roller coaster on rails not only the longest in the world – curves, waves and jumps make the nine-minute ride a breath-taking experience for the whole family.
